Welcome to Elevations!

New Year, New Us

Hi !

Notice something different? 😅

We've been working behind the scenes to upgrade a lot of things at FieryFX for this year, and this email is one of them!

Don't worry, there are some things that aren't changing. Each email will still be packed with nuggets of actionable info, but now Elevated to our standards 😎

In fact, this week I'd like us to start the year off right by remembering that now can be the perfect time to look back on your 2023 metrics (if you haven't already).

Nothing sets us up for success more than reflection,
and reflection is boosted by data (aka metrics).

BUT METRICS CAN GET LOST

Let's be honest, metrics are easy to ignore when you’ve got seemingly dozens of figurative (and sometimes literal) fires to put out every day.

And even when we don’t need to be in fire-fighting mode it can be difficult to prioritize our long to-do list, know where to find the "right" metrics, or what those metrics even are!

But, how to overcome this challenge?

The key is to establish a structure, a framework that brings these vital metrics right in front of your nose, making it nearly impossible to overlook them. Dashboards and reports to the rescue!

Hear all about how you can implement a dashboard or report that's simple and you'll actually use in this week's podcast episode (you can watch on YouTube or listen on your preferred platform). If there's one thing you can do to set yourself and your team up for success this year - this is it.

READY TO STEP UP TO THE CHALLENGE?

Speaking from experience, I've discovered that if something's vital, I need to establish a system that places it front and center, requiring minimal effort on my part. (I've mentioned this before, I'm lazy!)

In this case, I need metrics to be somewhere I can't miss - not in my inbox where I can scroll past them, in a new system I never go to, or a document I get overwhelmed by.

Take a moment to consider where you need metrics to show up so you actually use them...is it your inbox, a current CRM you're always in, during a team meeting, or something else?

By giving this some thought you're already on your way to using metrics more intentionally!

By the way, if you're struggling with this idea of metrics, what to monitor, and where to do it - I'd love to help. I am offering a Free Sales Health Check where we can triage things like this and whatever else may be bogging down your sales system. Book yours at the link below!
